Train as you fight.
Christian Marnetté is the founder and managing director of Marnetté Accentuated Consulting. He was born in Heidelberg in 1966 and initially completed an apprenticeship as a forwarding agent at BORK GmbH after graduating from high school.
This was immediately followed by a degree in business administration at Hochschule Heilbronn with a focus on logistics, transport and marketing. His professional career has included positions at TNT Express (most recently as Head of Sales Germany), Kuehne + Nagel (Executive Vice President Sales + Marketing Central Europe) and BLG Logistics Group (Managing Director and Head of the Forwarding Division).
From 2020 to 2024, Christian Marnetté was a partner at the Wiesbaden-based logistics consultancy TransCare before founding his own company.
Christian Marnetté already faced the operational basis and the challenges of time-critical situations during his training and studies through regular assignments as a long-distance truck driver and still does so through his work with the volunteer fire department, where he has been actively involved for over 40 years.
“Train as you fight” is not only his principle at the fire department. Christian Marnetté also advises his clients to prepare themselves as well as possible for the challenges of the business through regular practical reflection, accentuated training and constant development, and to always remain proactive and discerning.
Christian Marnetté lives in Hamburg, has two grown-up daughters and is involved in various political committees and works as a lecturer at universities. He is a certified member of supervisory and advisory boards and regularly networks in various industry associations.
